Koreana Authentic Cuisine

Koreana Authentic is an excellent restaurant! They offer an excellent mix of different Kimchi's. I've never been disapointed. They have limited hours but well worth the effort to eat in. This is the place Korean-American's go for authinic Korean food.

Very casual and authentic. I love being able to hear the cooks talk and laugh in the kitchen. The food is so good. God bless Korea.

My family and I visited Koreana a couple weeks ago while vising relatives in the area. We are big fans of Korean food and were interested in seeing what Lexington had to offer. Koreana did not disappoint. I got a big bowl of spicy noodle soup, my stepdaughter got noodles with black bean sauce, and my wife got a Korean pancake. All were delicious, but we agreed that my stepdaughter's choice was best. The staff were very friendly, and we would definitely visit again.

Really authentic Korean in an unassuming strip mall in the woodhill shopping center. I always get the kimchi jigae and it's never disappointed.

5 star flavor at Denny's prices. The marinated beef dinner was superb.

The Best Korean in the state. I drive from London ky to eat there. I have NEVER gotten bad food or service. I love the food here. It's well worth the drive.

One of the best deals in town for Korean food! It is a bit expensive, but the portions make up for it. You'll almost always end up taking some home unless you're very hungry. Comparing it to authentic Korean food, it's a bit americanized, but not nearly as much as other places. There are a wide variety of dishes available, from Bibimbap (비빔밥) to Jajangmyeon (짜장면)! Be sure to try everything and find your favorite dish. I've seen some negative comments regarding the owner, and here's my take: she's super friendly, outgoing, and loves to gossip. But I love it! You may feel she's in your face, but that's her personality. She'll definitely want to start a conversation with you!

First of all, I've been to this place for handful of times, and found hairs in the food twice, the boss lady never apologize or anything. Won't go back to a nasty place like that

Fantastic place

Great place. Don't be fooled by the facade and area it's in. The inside is clean and cozy. I go here all the time and even had a birthday here. Instead of cake, they suprised me with dumplings (and she remembered I liked shrimp not pork) and even stuck a little candle in one for me.The place feels like home and the food is p-h-e-n-o-m-i-n-a-l.

Good food, generous portions, lots of different kimchi and vegetables dishes. Reminded me of the many, many times I ate in restaurants in Korea.

The best authentic country style Korean food in Kentucky. A local mom and pop shop that cooks up special goodness like Kim Chee Chige and country-style fried rice. Other great Korean treats to be found here. The owners are friendly. The restaurant even feels like a place in Korea. Nothing fancy about it. Just down home goodness!

Love holes in the wall and this one was great. Good food, nice servers. One sign it had a lot of Koreans eating there. Had Korean food many times. On par with the good ones. Definitely a repeater.

The food here is excellent and authentic. I usually get the same thing: Dolsot Bibimbap. It's the best I have ever eaten. Nothing compares. People would call it a Mom and Pop hole-in-the-wall. That's accurate. The food will not disappoint. It's on my top ten for the last meal of my life!

Love this restaurant! It's my favorite place to eat in Lexington. Their dolsot bibimbap and the variety of kimchi and other sides that are served with it just keeps me coming back again and again. The owner is very kind and always upbeat and enthusiastic! I highly recommend!

If the Stomach is the center of the Soul, Food must be its Religion. Chefs, as the givers of the Food, must be the High Priest and Restaurants are the Temples. At least this is the way that Lee's cooking makes me feel. Always temperature perfect and exquisitely seasoned, I have never failed to be pleased here. Large servings almost always allow me to have extras for home except when I am very hungry. I have also never failed to be made to feel at home here and I am confused by some other things I have read. Go out and enjoy a hot, pleasing meal in a relaxed atmosphere at Koreana.

Closest thing I can get to home cooking when I can't make it home. Best place to get authentic Korean food in all of Lexington and surrounding areas. I've tried them all but this place is the best.
